Try this to find out what key a song is being played in....using your C harp blow and draw on the various holes while listening to the song. When you find a note that sounds like what the band is playing then you've probably found the key of the song. It takes a little practice but it's do-able. Try it on a song you know the key of to get a feel for what you're listening for. Hope this makes some sort of sense.
