: As a relative newcomer to harmonica playing ( August 2001) I enjoy both diatonic and chromatic. I have seen both the Hohner 64 Chromonica and the Super 64 Chromonica advertised, but have been unable to find a description of the Super 64 anywhere that would allow me to compare the two. Anyone out there able to lend a helping hand before I take the plunge and acquire a 64 to go with my Chrometta 14?

I been checking the chromatics the last week and decided
to go with the hohner 14 hole, (i think its the 270 model)
mainly because of the price. The hohner is the same
or a little cheaper than other mades and i rather have
the hohner brand if the price is the same. I wanted
a 12 tenor C, but read the notes below middle C can
be hard to master the sound, and i didn't want to
spend that much to get a 4 octive 16 hole. The 14 hole
is 3 1/2 octive, so it must have some notes under middle
C. Check with coast2coast music as they have some reviews
on different chromatics and have quite a selection.
