making the bends sound GOOD

There seems to be a ton of information in various places on the web regarding how to get draw bends out for those who haven't done it. The next phase in the skill, making the draw bends sound natural, is for the most part not addressed. I picked up the harp a few weeks ago, and can hit the bent notes, but they stand out like a sore thumb. As if I had a trained duck, that happened to quack at the right frequency. Yes, its an improvement over not being able to reach those notes at all, but not by much.
So, any advise people have for making the basic bends sound natural, like any other note, would be appreciated. Furthermore, I suggest to the creator of this site to consider addressing that problem in a section of its own.

Anyway, for me, the low draw bends are a very resonant honk, sometimes a muted trumpet sound. Not unpleasant, its the right note, just not fitting in with their non bent brothers.

ANY HELP AT ALL EVEN FROM OTHER BEGINERS IS WELL APPRECIATED!
