Well, being with kids and not a drinker, I don't frequent blues establishments much. The Candlelight is one place; Best bet it check the A&E section in the Oregonian - they have good descriptions of bands and where they're playing.
Of course if you get the chance go see Paul DeLay. Another outstanding player is David Lipkind with Spigot and a few other bands....
