I ahve to agree with the other post. Let them choose their own. I hear people say that harmonica is easy to play. I'm sure this is very individualized. Tha range might be different (less in fact) than say a piano or guitar but the requirements to make it sound good are no less. I find wind instruments in general far easier (for me) than strings and forget percussion. I ahve played guitar for half my life and am much more accomplished on harp, which I've played only a few years. For me Harp is the easiest but I know others that simply cannot get it.
