Hohner's Cross Harp..How good are they?

A couple harping buddies didn't like the MS Cross harp seris.... I use Sp-20's but I want a system that I can add the mediex tape to and open up the lids but use replacemnet reeds also. Before I buy one,any thoughts or input from the community out there?
