True. There are no "marketed" replacement reed plates for it unlike the the Hohner MS models or the Lee Oskars. What you can do though is buy a new Special 20 and take the reed plates off it and put it on your Special 20. This would only make sense if you've modified your old Special 20 in some way (like the cover plates, or new comb) or if the new Special 20 seems to leak more air tha tyou're old one.
: I need someone to clear this out for me once and for all. I have a Special 20 that according to the engraving at the bottom it is hand made in Germany. Does this means that there are no replacement reed plates for it?
