E-bay can be a very dangerous place to buy an amp. I want hear what Iam getting, and with some of the pictures you cant tell what speaker or tubes are in them. The Silverface Champs are still priced right in most cases, in my area under $200. Now Blackface Champ amps which are pre CBS, and not reissues, fall into the collectable arena, aka Big Bucks to $350+ depending on condition.

OK, now I may be wrong but the Broncos I have seen are small solid state amps. Made for practice for guitar players. Not that good for harp. In my area under $125.

A Silverface Champ is all tube, point to point or hand wired, no circuit boards. I would not pay over $200 for one. The tubes make a world of difference when it comes to sound. Especially with a mic and harmonica. One thing I have noticed about tube amps, Fenders dont go down in price.

Heres a tip, check out and the Electar 10 watt tube amp. Its the best deal going, new all tube for $125.
