Gindick's Rock n Blues Harmonica is a must for us beginners. I've also picked up a few others - Mel Bay's Complete Classic Chicago Blues Harp (David Barrett). That one's a bit more of a challenge but it provided me the best info/method for bending. After going through Gindick's book/CD, Barrett's was a little more easy to follow. I also have the Mel Bay "You Can Teach Yourself Harmonica" but there's no CD, which I prefer. Also have Harmonica Method (Ron Manus/Steve Manus) - comes with book and CD. Not bad. But if I could only have one, I'd go with Gindick's. After that, try taking on the more technical Mel Bay's. Best of luck!
