THX JS. Big Help to me. I thought it was Bb.
: Common horn keys are Bb, F, Eb, and C, and about in that order. Especially for tenor sax , soprano sax, clarinet, trumpet, and standard jazz tunes.
: JS
: : What are the most common keys that the horn section is in, specifically the saxaphone?
: : I have heard that most horns are in Bb. However Eb sounds good too. Are not most horn tunes in Bb?
: : The reason is because I am in a Mardi Gras parade and I have my harps & a little amp on my belt. I have a gooseneck rigged up to hold the green bullet in front of me. Looks pretty funny actually. I picked out a few melodies but I will mostly provide chordal back up with my Chrom.
: : Thanks harpsters & Lazzie le Bon temps rolle!
