Are you bending the lower notes, draw 3, 2, and 1.
I found bending easy as well on the 4 draw and higher.
To get the lower notes down I needed help. I drove up to Jon Gindicks house in LA a couple of weeks ago and he had me bending the draw 3 in about 2 minutes.
I've also found that using an F harp while working on the lower bends is easier than using the lower keyed harps like A and G.
