There is no magic or simple answer. It just takes experience. Have a guitar or keyboard playing friend help you with keying songs. You can even take your favorite CDs to a lesson with any qualified music teacher and see how many CDs they can key in a half hour lesson. Keep in mind, there are many songs that will only play easily on an instrument with chromatic capabilities like a chromatic harmonica.
