I thought it was illegal everywhere to sell used harmonicas. I know it is here in Michigan. I was under the impression that it is illegal to return or resell any mouthblown instrument, for sanitary reasons. Elderly instruments would never take a used harmonica back from a customer, never mind sell it again.
Besides which, the rest of the harp is in pristine condition. I'd think a used harp would have at least a couple of nicks and scratches, especially on the comb.
But now you've got me worried. Is this something I should be concerned about?
: : Has it been used. I have seen exactly what you are a talking about - on used harmonicas. Never a new one. I would make a b line down to the store.
: : Never know-with all the stuff floating around these days...........
: The reason I didnt mention that is where I live it`s illegal to sell a used harmonica. Most of the people I deal with locally are reputable business owners. I could not think of a better way to ruin a friendship........
