I agree with Bluz on "buy NOS american." RCA is kinda known as the kitty's meow. If not too expensive vs other american tubes, I would buy RCA.
: I previously left a message concerning the 1973 Fender Champ that I recently purchased (Thanks again Ron!). As Ron suggested, I'm going to replace the 12ax7 tube with a 12au7. However, I noticed that there are many different name brands. Mullard, GE, Groove, and Sylvania. Is there a certain name brand I should get? Also, what is a vaccum tube and what is NOS?
