Aaron,
As far as I'm concerned, the more varied your instruction the better. I have several books/tapes/cd's and all have some value. There is so much to learn and it's impossible to get it all from one source. Use the software, use this site, use this message board, buy more books, cd's, more harps, anything and everything to enhance your experience. It's all good!!!
Blow your brains out,
Jezzmund

: I got this software made by Alfred Publishing. It is entitled "Teach Yourself to Play the Harmonica. I don't know wether I should use it or not. It was a gift for Christmas and has not yet been opened. Because it seems to teach things, like how to hold, differently than this site I don't know if it is something I should use? As a beginner it teaches you to cup your hands around the Harmonica instead of holding the two ends. It teaches formal music notes as aposed to tabs. Because I don't know what to do I wanted to ask someone with experiance.
: Please help me make a desition on wether or not ot use this software or find another learning source such as a book. Thank you for any help you can give.
