A ribbon mic is a studio mic and not right for harmonica when plugged into an amp. You need to get a high impedance mic. Also, read more of the posts on mics on this board.
: I just aquired a ribbon mic. I don't know what make it is and I am not planning on using it for harp. When I plug it into my Fender Champ amp I get a ton of feedback. Does anybody know why this is? This is more of a curiosity than a harp thing but I know there are lots of folks on this site who know lots about gear. Thanks!
