Get all C harps so you're all in the same key. Portnoys material is not for beginners. Stick with the info on this site or use Gindick's books and tapes. Buy everything you can thru this site to support the wonderful free instuction here.

: We want to learn as a family, (5 yr old passive daughter that loves to sing animal songs) I'm thinking on getting one Oskar and 2 Hohner special 20's. Should we get 3 C's or different keys? Should I know something about a small 5 year olds mouth and harp connection? For instruction I'm looking at: Gindicks rock and blues, his absolute beginner, his musically hopeless; or Portnays blues harmonica; Are they all as good?
