You know, I think you guys are overreacting. If someone is new to this instrument or new to this website give them a break. If you've been playing for years, and visit this website for "hours a day" you have a responsibilty to stay positive to newbies. We were all there at one time, but when some of us started the internet wasn't an option. The moment you place "rules" and start barking at people for making a mistake, is when people get turned off of this site. They will go elsewhere and may just give it all up if they have a bad experience. Remember that alot of different age brackets visit this area. If some kid asks a silly question, big deal. Be an adult and answer their question! People new to the internet may not be savvy enough to understand how message boards work. I work as a computer tech for a school district and I deal with this kind of problem every day. If you are worried about the work load of the webmaster, then help him/her out by just answering the question for the person. Deal with it.
