The Shure 57 and the 58 are standards used thru out the world. The 57 has a smaller pick up pattern making it great for micing amps on stage and is very close to the Shure 545 the mic Mr. Butterfield used...A 57 or 58 in a stand will get the job done IMHO......All the Best To Ya ....Bluz
