: I agree, Bluz. I find them a little tougher to get that "beery" moaning tone from, but I have NEVER had one go out on me, and that's saying something. I noodle with other harps with more accessible "mojo," but I am only comfortable going on stage with my set of L.O's.

I've been playing professionally for 30 years,and I had an event with the Lee Oscar harp. While playing a draw note, live, on stage, the reed broke off and cut the inside of my throat. This actually happened a second time! I also find they are less friendly to overblowing than a Golden Melody.
