On Runaway, Norton actually plays 4 different harps. He solos over the verse changes which are | Cm| Bb | Ab | G7 | and uses an F, Eb, Db, C harmonica in 2nd pos. Depending on the version of the song you have, he goes through the 4 harmonicas once or twice. I know because I used to play his solo in a cover band back in the '70s. It's a bitch to do without dropping harps all over the stage.

: : I wonder if someone could tell me the harp keys on the following songs:
: : "Runaway" by Bonnie Raitt with Norton Buffalo on harmonica
: : "Song for Lee" and "Drifting"(live version) by Paul Butterfield.
: : Thank you very much for your input

: East-West G harp 2nd position, C harp third..
: song key of Dm.

: Runaway, key of C, 2nd F harp, 3rd Bb harp and some really good licks. Norton dont play around...

: All the best to Ya and Enjoy....... Bluz
