Well, there is performance; does it work properly?
The bottom line is the fundamental question: "Do YOU like it?"
I have really expensive harps and really cheap harps, and it just depends.
I have an older Huang that should, by all accounts, have died on me a long time ago, but it is simply HAUNTED; it plays so nice. Granted, I have better harps in that key that I trust more, but I like the old sucker.
If it works for you right now well enough for you -- it functions properly so that you hear and feel what you are supposed to when you play a harmonica -- then you and only you can decide if it's the harp for you.
If so; don't let anybody tell you it isnt enough harp for you. If there are problems or you fear that there are, you might look around sooner or later, and if you like the GLH better, blow it!
They're like anything else; your good ol' harp is a friend and so long as it works such that you learn proper technique (FOR YOU), then it's your baby and enjoy it. If you're like most of us, you'll wind up with a drawer full of them before long anyway. :)
