It works just fine Rand- Better than I thought it would. At first I wore the head set and cupped the harp with the mike, but the mike is so small and when I bent my notes everything pitched right out of range. I lowered the recording volume and was able to record fairly good sounding samples.
The only drawback is background noise and the occasional sound of , well, you, blowing the harp,
that is, your mouth and throat making all kinds of
gruntinng and swallowing noises. I believe that's merely due to the fact that I was at the time playing down into the mike and at the same time
creating a lot of moisture that I had to struggle to keep out of the harp. The headset mike works fairly well otherwise, and once I open the sound recorder and add echo to it, the result is very authentic- In fact I sounded like Little Walter without a beat! If you'd like to hear some of these samples drop me a line at my e-mail and I'll let you have a listen!
Good luck!
