: : Way confused on this one. I mean does it mean you play it with a harp that is in the key of "C", but when playing it in 2nd position it becomes the key of "F"?
: : Or does it mean the song is in the key of "C". but the harp solos are in the key of "F" (and therfore you should use a harp in the key of "F")? ....wich doesnt really make sense to me, but i am (like i said) way confused.. lol
: : Any help much appreciated :)

: You are playing an F harp in the Key of C. If you read thru this site, you would see in the Blues Scales that your C scale on the F harp would start and end with C notes. The 2 draw, the 6 blow are both c notes. The notes on that Blues scale would be C E F G A Bb C or 2D 3D 4B 4D 5B 5D 6B. Play them forward and backward, thats your Blues Scale Key of C, in second position, on an F harp. Hope this clears it up a little, and All the Best to Ya..... Bluz
