: Don't waste your time, they are NOT make to be taken apart. Those cheap little nails never go back in quite right after being pryed open. This is one of the many reasons most modern instructors and players use and recommend plastic harps like the Lee O's and Special 20's.

: Specialists will do "mods" on Marine Bands so that they play better and are put back together with actual screws. The problem is, these guys tend to be backed up months and are very expensive (about $90 last I checked).

I actually managed to get the cover plate off and then fix 'em with bolt and nut...
i've just given a harp another month of life
