No. Two levels mean it is a tremolo harmonica. Reads the FAQs or Start Here page on this site for more info.
That is not to say though that a tremolo harmonica would be a bad choice for a youngster to get started. If he gets interested, get him a standard diatonic.

: just bought a "hohner silver star' diatonic hard for my 7yr old son. i've looked at the pix and faq's and all but didn't really get an answer to this silly question. does a simple diatonic harp has 2 levels? yknow, one up then a bar then another? also, is 7 a good age to start learning harp? he plays the drums very well already.
