: : : I'm having trouble w/ bending. Will buying/playing on a Golden Melody help me? The description of this harp says that it is perfect for bending & overblowing so...

: : Maybe! Some harp are easier for bending, but mostly it's a practice thing. Just keep at it. Golden Melody's are nice harps so, yes, buy one and see if it helps. Even if you don't bend like a champ right away, you'll still have another great harmonica to add to what should be a growing collection.

: I have to agree with Bill 100% I think the GM`s are the most overlooked harp on the market. They are and sound Great...

The reed plates on a Golden Melody are heavier, which has something to do with why they bend easier, or so I've been told. They seem to go out of tune faster than others, which has been my experience. They are easier to overblow, but need constant attention to keep them in pitch. Huang harmonica's, though not favored by many, have lasted for years on my belt. They're hand made.
