Since you have taken the step of checking out harmonicalessons.com, I think it's time that you found yourself a new name.
I hope that it wasn't your friends that suggested that your family call you Tonedeaf!
Wives and family members are not always supportive when it comes to musical pursuits. And if you think this is bad, wait til you start playing gigs.
Keep practising and by all means, have fun. Don't let anyone, especially non-musicians discourage you.
