Do your Hoo-La-La's sound like Polka?

Hey guys,
I can do the hoo-la-la, but all it ever sounds like is polka, or something else thats *not* bluesy. I would much appreciate some examples of where this would ever sound cool, or any other help you could offer. Thanks.
