: Say I have a harmonica in the key of C (diatoinic). How would I go about playing songs in G, F, or A? Is there any way to make them sound right? Thank ya

For the key of C harmonica you have (to point out the obvious!) the key of C or 1st position, the key of G or 2nd Position, the key of D or 2nd position, the key of A or 6th position, the key of E or 5th position. These keys, all refer to the pentatonic or blues scale. I've done a lesson on these available free at www.geocities.com/mottabona/Harmonica.html

That's a lot of info and a lot of practice! But also a lot of fun. :[]
