The CD is called Sonny & Brownie, originally released on vinyl in 1973. Available from Amazon and CDNow at less than $10. The first song you mention is Randy Newman's "Sail Away" about a ship taking Africans to a bright future in America a couple of hundred years ago... The second one is indeed called "You Bring Out The Boogie In Me". I haven't heard the record myself but Amazon has plenty of customer reviews in case you're interested.
