Patrick is right, you're on the right track. You also bought the right harmonica! (except for the key of C part) but for starts, that's of little matter. Keep your key of E Major Diatonic. You've got a great blues harmonica and when you play in 2nd position, you'll be playing in the key of B ( a great key for blues).
2nd position is a favored blues position, but not the only one. You'll be amazed at the harmonica as you learn more. Feel free to email me directly with any questions or tips on playing.
