Anyone had problems with the ability to completely seal their nasal passage while drawing? After a few months of trying to learn the harp I ordered David Barrett's excellent "Basic Blues Method" course. When David pointed out the importance of completely sealing the nasal passage, I discovered that I was losing draw air. By manually blocking it the volume and tone improved dramatically. Now for weeks I have been trying to isolate the muscles that control this without success. Blues harp slingers sporting the latest fashion in nose plugs! Very un-cool, definitely detracts from the look of the cheap sunglasses. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions (short of surgery) will be appreciated.
