The aticulation technique I use mostly is a sort of "ga" or "cha" (glottal stop at the back of the throat). I sometimes use a "ta" or "da" articulation, but it doesn't always sound as clean as I'd like. I also use a "wa" or "oowaa" sound, bending at the start of the note, to add effect.
