I have and still do experience problems draw bending notes on the higher keyed harps. My difficulty starts on the D and goes up form there. I have found that my problem is one of overpowering the bend. It seems that the bends on the higher keyed harps require finer gradiations of "bending pressure." I have been training myself to be more gentle and controlled on the high keyed harps and it seems to be working. The bottom line for me seems to be that I need finer control over my bending pressure on the higher keyed harps and I need to develop that control with practice. I would be interested to know if that works for you as well.

By the way, the D harp seems to be fairly important because many guitarists like to play in the key of A (second position on a D harp). It might be a good idea to exercise bending on a D harp.

Good luck and have fun!

Ron
