Dear Harmonicalessons,

Thanks for The explanation of the key of a mouth organ.
I recently came across a harp- Hohner Hot Metal-
but on the under-side it says "Made in China" and
it is relatively cheap so I have two questions.
Firstly does Hohner have a franchise in China, or something
like that,so that they produce harmonicas in China or do
they produce harmonicas only out of Germany because
I remember seeing a Marine Band Hohner that said
"Made in Germany" and "since 1896", but on this
Hohner Hot Metal it does not say "since 1896".
Secondly could this be an imitation "rip-off" of Hohner
and is it okay to buy such a harmonica, because it does have
the "trade mark" removable plate cover to replace the reed plate
which is typical of Hohner harmonicas.
Thanks for the prompt response last time on the key of the
mouth organ and as always thank you for attention this time.
God bless.

Yours Respectfully,
Mark Hackshaw.
