I think that everything that you addressed here will be resolved with practice. There are good tutorials on this web site for tounge blocking. If you follow them and practice you WILL get this technique. As for holes 8, 9, and 10, it is very common for beginners to have trouble playing the upper register. The tutorials on breathing WILL resolve these issues for you with practice. Basically people tend to suck air in and pinch air out when they are learning. You really need to focus on breathing through the harp. The upper and lower registers tend to be less accomodating to improper breathing. Keep practicing and have fun!
