This was one of the harder things for me to learn also, and at times still gives me fits. I purchased a tape by Junior Wells who has always been one of my favorites. I noticed he shakes the harp, not the head. It makes sense, the harp is a lot smaller and lighter. It really is a matter of choice. I try to start a head shake on the lower of the notes involved and end on the higher. For practice I start with a set number of shakes and stick to it. It all boils down to just practice. Dont forget the really good info on the site, look for warbles on the site map. One trick I use is keeping my elbows in to my side, or ribs, for a more steady harp and mic. Good Luck....
