The past two days, in my spare time at work, I've been taking apart my harmonica's and cleaning them.
First, I take a paper-towel and dab it in alcohol and wipe off the two silver covers.
Then I unscrew the reed plates and give them a once over with the alcohol (I've also tried Acetone).
Then I run the comb (plastic)under hot water and scrub it with a toothbrush. (this part works wonders. It gets all the crap off of the comb very easily...)
Then I Dry it all and put it back together.
Can anyone see any potential problems with this?
