I used 2 harmonica keys for 35 years (C and G). It wasn't until I picked up an eight harmonica set a year ago that I really began to play along with "most" recorded music. I could always play the songs but never along with the artist because I was in the wrong key. The eight I have are ABbBCDEFG. I always enjoyed playing the harmonica... since I purchased all the keys above, I have a newfound love for playing. And I have learned mucho just reading the posts on this site..It's great. Good Luck.
: I have just bought my firt harmonica - a G keyed blues harp. I didn't realise that there are some things that you couldn't play on it. I particularly wanted to play Neil Young stuff - Heart of Gold , Out for the Weekend, Hank to Hendrix etc. I managed Heart 0f Goldbut couldn'tget anything else. Do I need a differemt harp for different songs or is there a way round this - using a capo on guita maybe??. I am really interested in Neil Young tabs but all I can find is Heart of Gold - Can anyone help - or do I need to buy more than one harp??!!
