: Thanks for all the help, guys. Is John Popper also lead vocals for the band?

: I hope this question doesn't start a harmonica holy war, but why does Mr. Popper prefer Hohner if Lee Oskar harps are supposed to be better?

: : Blues lover
: : If you listen to BT then look on the cd cover to see who plays what. You probably know, but they were in Blues Brothers 2 the movie.
: : John Popper's style to me is technically very fast and precise, however I vary my diet of listening to all styles, try Gary Primich for example, no less precision but a lot of soul.
: : Bluz will no doubt recommend William Clark (now deceased I believe)
: : John Popper plays Hohner Special 20's, quite a surprise to me being a Lee Oskar man meself but you are right, can he play!! Its kinda like he's the Steve Vai of the harp world if you know what I mean....good luck
: : Nick
he is also the vocalist for the band. i think it's just personal preference on the brand of harp. you just gotta figure out what you like.
