For a superbeginner, 3 blow is easier. If you are playing straight harp (first position) melodies, 3 blow should be fine.

For cross harp (second position) you will want to learn 2 draw. When played properly, it will have a fuller sound than 3 blow, and it is also a note you can bend. Make sure you draw the air straight through the harmonica, not at an angle.
