If you can bend the draw 1, you will have the same note as draw 4, only an octave lower. also, you can use a guitar or piano, if they're in tune. Recorded sound might change the pitch an not be a true tone. I don't know what kind of money you're willing to spend, but Jerry Portnoy has put out an excellent tutrorial with all sorts of techniques covered. It's about $65 and you should be able to find it just by searching his name or go thorough Harpcity.com. It has really helped me. I know your frustration with bending. Draw 4 on C harp was the hardest bend for me. I could get all 3 bends on draw 3 and still couldn't get draw 4. It's just a 1/2 step down. you'll know it when you here it. Then you'll wonder why you had such difficulty in the first place.

: Can anyone send me a sound clip of the C harmonica w/ a draw on 4 compared to a C harmonica w/ a bent draw on 4? I cant get it, and whenever i think i might have it, i get the feeling it is just a volume difference. Thanks. jeffus@ureach.com
