: Hello!
: I wonder why I can't make the first three holes
: sound correctly unless i havn't "warmed them up".
: To often they're sounding like a teenage boy for a
: while before I get the tune right.
: I'm playing on a Oscar Lee and was told that it's a
: good harp. So I guess I'm doing something wrong here.
: Thanx

Hanseman- I've been playing and teaching a bit for years. The information on this site is great! I've learned a lot here myself. Read through the sections on single notes and breathing. I've gone through what you're going through myself and with my students. I wish we could blame the harmonica, but it ultimately always ends up being the player. Stick with the whistle method for playing single notes, it is the best single note method to learn first. Hang in there and be patient. It will come.
Good luck,
Bill
