Not sure of your question, cross and straight are usually refered to as playing styles. All respect to you, Diatonic Harmonicas are Richter tuned. In 1857 the single sound Richter tuned harmonica was invented by "Mr. Richter" the tuning was designed for the playing of single notes and octaves. The blow note layout on a key G harp is C E G C E G C E G C. Now for special tunings Lee Oscar sells a Major, Melody Maker, Harmonic Minor and Natural Minor..
