I've been playing with a Green Bullet for about seven years and using a Fender Blues Junior amplifier. I love the tone I can achieve, but, as with any love affair, I've grown weary of the same old, same old, and I find myself wanting just a little more. Anyone have experience with the JT-30 or the Shaker mics? How about Astatics? Wanting something a little lighter and smaller than the bullet that will let me create a tighter vacuum with the hands, something that gives me the room to feel like I'm pulling the draw bend reeds through the back of my throat and down into my gut. If you know the sound I'm looking for, I'm listening.
