I think Gary's book is an excellent buy for I am taking personal lessons from the guy and he is great. I don't take lessons very often and I have to drive 70 miles to get to his house, but the occasional lesson that I get from him is well worth it for me. He can show me new "tricks" and scale exercises and I can apply that to what I am already doing. He's a master.
