I'm a ground floor beginner. I'm doing lessons from a book and cd using a Special 20 in key of C. For variety betwwen lessons, I picked up a Big River harp in key of A. Aaaagh!! If I draw or blow on the A there's a hesitation before sound. I'm expelling or drawing air before getting a sound. The Special 20 is instant sound. Is this normal? Is it the differance in keys? Did I get a bad harp? Is the quality between these two harps this drastic? I'm not bad mouthing the Big River. I just don't if it's normal or bad harp. The differance is like night and day between these two harps. Thanks.
