When I use the Low Rider lick I keep it right with the beat or it doesnt work. It has to fit. The other lick Ive used in both Slow Blues and Shuffels. I think the best advice I can give you is to jam to some of the music on these sites, like the slow blues in G. You have to get a feel for what you want to play. When they tell you to listen, listen, listen thats because it works. You should know whats coming and where its going. Good Luck..
