Actually, that's not exactly what I meant. Instead of getting half a tone between the 5blow and the 5 draw, that is the E and the F for a C harp, the F# and the G for the D harp; I get a whole tone. So when I play the D major scale with my D harp, it doesn't sound right.
: the easiest way to get a C scale is on a C harp or F harp (you have to bend). The D harp will give you the F# and you probably won't bend down that blow note. If you "overblow" (which I find impossible on any harp) you will raise that F# to a G.
: : I happen to own a diatonic harmonica in the scale of D. I tried to do the major scale with the tabs but it doesn't sound right: I get a F# instead of a F and the end, the A, the B, and the C, are also screwed up. Is it my harmonica, or is there another way to play the major scale with a D-Harmonica?
